Guild Life and Disability Insurance Program
In addition to these company benefits, Guild members are eligible for $10,000 of life insurance through New York Life which is paid for by the Guild. Members may also purchase additional spouse & dependent coverage and disability coverage to protect income in the event of a serious illness. This coverage extends beyond any sick pay provided for by The Blade Company. Any additional life insurance you purchase stays in force even if you leave employment with The Blade. Watch for annual enrollment notices.

Employee Life Insurance

  Basic life coverage pays benefits to your beneficiary(ies) if you die while covered. Make sure to keep beneficiary designations current.  

Spouse & Dependent Life Insurance

  You may purchase additional spouse and dependent life insurance. Benefits are $5,000 for your spouse and $1,000 for each child.

Care Program
Qualified Parking




You may divert pre-tax dollars through payroll deduction to use for care of dependents -such as day care- and also divert pre-tax dollars to pay for parking expenses while working. Take advantage of these programs which can lower your taxable income on your yearly W-2 earnings statement.

You must enroll in these programs during the annual enrollment period in early December. Written claim forms and receipts must be submitted to receive your reimbursement.
